Christine is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Oregon (#11081) and has been in practice for over 5 years. In addition to seeing private clients, she has worked both in the Chiropractic and Spa settings. She currently works at Zenana Spa and Wellness Center, a spa for new moms and families. She specializes in Swedish/Relaxation, Deep Swedish, Prenatal and New Mama, Reflexology and Hot Stone Massage, in addition to being a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Her style is flowing with a deeper touch – relaxing and therapeutic simultaneously.

ROB MURPHY

Rob Murphy has been a practicing vegan for seven years and a 100% raw vegan for almost three years. Seven years ago Rob underwent a quadruple by-pass, and through veganism and especially raw veganism has been able to totally reverse his heart disease.  To the amazement of his cardiologist, Rob has steadily been able to drop one drug after another, and is now being weaned off the last prescription drug.

Rob is the organizer of the Richmond Raw & Living Foods Meetup group, founded by Laura Fox. Aside from his day job and the Raw Meetup group, Rob is a certified raw chef/teacher/coach.

Rob is also a practicing shaman and a shamanic-reiki practitioner. He has been initiated as a yatchak (shaman) into the Quichuan Path of Light tradition in by Don Esteban Tamayo in Ecuador and served a year’s internship in the Green Path Medicine tradition of shamanism taught by the Brazilian shaman, Ipupiara and his wife Claicha, a yatchak in the Peruvian Quechua tradition, and Dr Eve Bruce. In March, Rob was adopted into a Brazilian tribe and initiated into their shamanic tradition of the Makunaiman (one who makes others dreams come true).

In addition, Rob has studied with:

• John Perkins and Llyn Roberts in Shapeshifting shamanism

• Llyn Roberts in Shamanic Reiki techniques

• Don Carlos in Mayan healing techniques

Rob is also a member of the NYC Shamanic Drum Circle and is regularly invited as the visiting shaman in drum circles in NY and Connecticut.

Cindy Cummins, licensed massage therapist, offers biodynamic craniosacral and advanced polarity therapy for simple stress-relief or to resolve chronic tension from surgeries, past injury and accidents.

Cindy studied reflexology as a teenager and read all she could find about natural foods and alternative healing. After spending years in community using raw living foods, detoxifying fasts and being trained in advanced bodywork, energy yoga and awareness counseling, Ms Cummins studied western and medical massage at East-West College of the Healing Arts in Oregon state and became licensed there as a massage therapist.

As her practice grew in Portland, Oregon, she took the Biodynamic Craniosacral two-year training for certification at Colorado School of Energy Studies in Boulder, Colorado. This has benefited clients with PTSD, old injuries, chronic pain and also those who have symptoms which western medicine cannot address.

Having been a gourmet vegetarian instructor and parent-leader, Ms Cummins enjoys supporting clients who wish to transition to healthy foods, exercise and emotional balance. All her work, whether traditional massage or quantum energy work is with respect to each client’s inherent healing wisdom.

Healing Henna
“I create Henna designs for physical and emotional healing, as well as for fun and entertainment I use acupressure points, client input, intuition and symbolism to make a connection between me and my clients. We focus the piece on the problem area or chi point and replace negativity with positive energy.  The client can use the design for two to three weeks as a meditation to create a more balanced state.  After a healing session, many clients tell me that they felt relief by the next day and some have had healing events or spiritual experiences.

What to expect: Sessions begin with a short moment to ground and center, then a discussion about yourself, the issues you have and your design and placement ideas. This could be directly over the area of discomfort, meridian line or if the issue is emotional we decide on the most appropriate area. During the application we meditate on the issue and task at hand.

Appointments take a minimum of one hour up to two hours depending on the complexity of the design or issue.
Henna Healing is not a replacement for medical diagnoses and should not be a substitute for the advice of a professional health practitioner. I do my work with the intention of helping clients find comfort and to support their chosen healing process.
